    1. [S4] Obituary.
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of (Carman) Allan Bowlby in his 70th year. Surrounded by loving family, Allan passed peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Monday February 5th. Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Allan lived abroad with family eventually settling in Ottawa in 1981. As a Queen’s University graduate he found his passion in poetry, literature and the arts. He was extremely loving and proud of his two children, Aaron Michael and Claire Elizabeth. He is also survived by his wife and best friend Lesley; sister Glenda (Brian); two brothers Gary (Mary) and Bruce (Jill); nephews Geoff (Sara Jo) and Doug (Courtney) and their children. Memorial donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada.
