WILMOT –
Lewis Tennyson Spurr, 66, Dodge Road, Wilmot, died Tuesday March 31, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born at Round Hill, he was a son of the late Alfred and Luella (Morse) Spurr. He is a retired heavy equipment mechanic and farmer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Audrey MacLean; two daughters, Patricia (Mrs. Wayne Allen), Bridgewater; and Sandra (Mrs. John Chute), Wilmot; two sons, Philip, Pleasant River; and Irvin, Wilmot; a sister, Mrs. helma Delaney, Centrelea; four brothers, William, Centrelea; Philip, Aylesford; Alfred, Wilmot; and Vernon, Dartmouth; seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by five sisters, Marie, Marjorie, Marion, Grace, and Laura; two brothers, Irvin and Gilford.
The body is in Warren T. Roop’s Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Nictaux Baptist Church, Rev. Wayne Fevens officiating, assisted by Rev. Harry Gardner, with burial in Nictaux Cemetery.Donations may be made to the Mobile Cardiac Monitor Fund or any charity.
