      MIDDLETONMrs. Clara Spurr, widow of Guilford Spurr, 78, of Nictaux, died at the Annapolis General Hospital on January 5, 1974, following a brief illness. Born at New Germany, she was the daughter of the late William Rupert Woodworth and Lavenia Woodworth, of New Germany.
       She is survived by one daughter, Flora (Mrs. Fred Melanson), Nictaux; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Fuller, Nictaux Falls; two brothers, Leon Woodworth, Upper Clements, and Gerald Woodworth of Nictaux Falls; and six grandchildren.
       The body rested at the Frederick H. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, until January 8, 1974 when funeral service was held from the Nictaux Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Baxter officiating. Interment was in Round Hill Cemetery.
