      PALMER, Raymond Chester Ernest – 90, Dartmouth, passed away April 14, 1999, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Auburn, Kings, he was a son of the late T. Lorne and Bernice (Taylor) Palmer. He was a former employee with the federal government Fisheries Research Board, member of Stevens Road Baptist Church, former member of Dartmouth Curling Club and Brightwood Golf and Country Club.
       Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Spurr; daughter, Nancy Guildford, Dartmouth; sister, Geneva Palmer, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; brother, Lorris and Edith Palmer, Auburn; former son-in-law, John Guildford, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Cheryl Guildford and Steve, Dartmouth; Chris and wife Patti, Dartmouth; great-granddaughter, Courtney.
       A memorial service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in Stevens Road Baptist Church, Rev. Don Krouse officiating. Burial at a later date in Aylesford. Donations may be made to the palliative care unit of Dartmouth General Hospital.
