      BALSOR, Merle Archibald – age 57, of Fort Saskatchewan, Alta., formerly of Black Rock, Kings, passed away recently in Alberta. Born in Berwick, on October 28, 1958, he was a son of B. Marion (Sweeney) Balsor, Cambridge, and the late Myles A. Balsor.
       Merle had worked at various places as a truck driver in Nova Scotia and in Alberta. After relocating to Fort Saskatchewan he had worked on the oil rigs and operated heavy equipment.
       Besides his mother, he is survived by sister, Wendy (Richard) Strong, Lakeville; brothers, Wayne (Donna), Black Rock; Gary (the late Ardena), Cambridge; two aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his father, he was predeceased by an infant sister, Joy Lynn.
       There will be no visitation. A private graveside service for family members will take place in the East Black Rock Cemetery, at a later date, with Pastor Marie McCallum officiating.
