CLEM, Darrel Blake – 51yrs, of Aylesford, NS passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the QEII VG Site, Halifax. Born in Berwick, NS he was a son of Lorimer Clem, Viewmount and the late Shirley (Sweeney) Clem. Darrel was a Land Surveyor Assistant with DeWolfe & Morse Surveying Limited, Middleton. He loved fishing, hunting and reading. Darrel also enjoyed gardening and was an avid bird watcher. Besides his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Joanne Comeau; sisters, Ruth Meier, North Carolina; Joan (Brendan) Gibney, Kanata, ON; Carrol (Peter) Stewart, Viewmount; brothers, Eric (Noreen) Clem and Neil (Wendy) Clem, both of Viewmount; mother-in-law, Lise Comeau, Greenwood and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Shirley Clem; brother-in-law Doug Meier and father-in-law Joseph Comeau. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held 11:00AM Friday, July 5, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darrel’s memory may be made to the Burlington Community Hall or to the charity of your choice.
