      Mrs. Clara Lyons
      Taken ill whiled on a visit to relatives, Mrs. Clara Lyons, of Marcus Hook, died yesterday morning at Halifax, Nova Scotia. The body will be brought to Marcus Hook for burial and it is expected that it will arrive on Saturday.
      Mrs. Lyons went to Waterville, Nova Scotia, on July 12, to visit Dr. Lyons’ parents. She was taken ill while there and her condition became serious. She was removed to a hospital at Halifax, a distance of 80 miles, where is (sic) was found she was suffering from internal trouble. Two operations were performed in the hope of effecting a recover, but her condition did not improve and Dr. Lyons was telegraphed of the seriousness of her ailment and left Marcus Hook for Halifax where he arrayed on Saturday and remained until she died.
      Deceased was thirty-eight years of age and was a graduate nurse of the Chester Hospital. She was in apparent good health at the time of her departure. Mrs. Lyons was a daughter of the late Hamilton and Emma Hoskins, who resided at Seventh and Madison streets, this city. She is survived by her husband and a five-year-old daughter.
      News of her death came as a shock to a wide circle of friends and acquaintances in this city and Marcus Hook borough. Dr. Lyons and his wife resided on Post road, in Marcus Hook.
