GALLUP — Funeral services for Mearl Morrison, 66, who died Sunday will be held Saturday at Rollie Mortuary Chapel, Rev Walter Snyder of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Morrison was born in Greenville, Texas on March 5, 1910. He worked as a conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad and lived in the Gallup area for the past 10 years. Morrison is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Santa Ana, Calif., a daughter, Dora Miner of Ft. Worth, Texas, and five grandsons. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery following the services Rollie Mortuary has charge. — Gallup Independent (New Mexico), 12 Nov 1976.
