      Mr. Ralph L. Pratola, of Silver Springs, FL, formerly of Imperial Terrace in Tavares, FL, passed away on Sunday, November 29th, 2009 at the age of 89 years.
       Ralph was born in Derdham, Massachusetts to Matthew and Michaelina (Pope) Pratola on June 3rd, 1920.
       He retired from the Merchant Marines. His wife, Dolores of 36 years, preceded him in death in 2001.
       Ralph is survived by his step-daughters, Harriette (John William) Polefko of Silver Springs and Nancy (Frank) Depew of Rockmart, GA, his sister, Anne (Paul) Fontane of Hamden, CT, 7 step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
       Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 from 11:00 - 11:30 AM at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:00 noon at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson-Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares, FL, 352-343-4444.
