      Roger Ronald Priddy, 79, of Rockford, IL departed this earthly life Friday, February 10, 2012 at Swedish American Hospital after a fall. He was born July 1, 1932 in Rockford the son of Pettius & Frances Priddy. He was employed as a molder Mattison Foundry 26 years before retiring. Roger was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended Oregon Public School.
       Roger, leaves to cherish many memories, two sons, Ronald (Connie) and Roger Allen (Kim) Priddy; five daughters Kathy (Elmer) Rand, Nancy (Dale) Massolle, Connie (Terry) Sandman, Pam (Ron) Patterson and Donna Priddy (Jim) DeBoer; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Bielema; four sisters, Ellen Mason, Sue Wolfe, Betty Giger, and Mary (Gary) Tarvested; former wife, Linda “Orsted” Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister Delores VanSickle; and brother William Glawe.
       Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 2429 W. State Street.
