Nancy Denzler Riordan passed away on December 26, 2012. She was born in Newport, Arkansas on April 17, 1936.
She received her Master of Fine Arts from State University of New York at Buffalo and was a distinguished artist and sculptor. Nancy was married to Timothy Riordan in Lynn, MA and is survived by her two children, Ronald Hopkins and Carrie Doubts and three grandchildren.

Nancy was married to Timothy Riordan in Lynn, MA and is survived by Timothy Riordan (husband); Carrie Doubts (daughter) and her daughter Ilana Tel-Oren; Ronald Hopkins (son) and his son Nolan Hopkins and daughter Sydney Hopkins; Sherry Blanchard Stuart (sister) and her sons Ross Stuart and Aaron Scholl; Walter Blanchard (brother) and his son Michael Blanchard and his son Alex Thomas Blanchard and his daughters Janie Blanchard and Debbie Mitchell and her son Tray and daughter Ryan.

Artist Statement: Nancy uses the human figure, animals and the landscape for her inspiration. Her fascination with the dynamics of light and an emphasis on the abstract quality of each composition is evident. Every painting reveals something more than just the image.
