Wise County, TX — A crash between a motorcycle and an SUV claimed the life of 51-year-old Mearl Miner and left 69-year-old Rosemary Switzer Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the area of Wise, TX.  The incident took place on Farm Road 730. According to the reports, Mr. Miner was headed north on 730 when for reasons unclear, the SUV crossed the grass median, colliding with the bike. The driver of the SUV, Ms. Switzerland, was injured in the incident. The driver of the motorcycle, Mr. Miner, was killed at the scene of the crash. The official investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes. (May 17, 2017)
