His many interests outside of work included his dedication to his family as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather and his love of his church but he found time for the Fundy Dahlia Society, fishing, hunting and gardening too. His passion for growing Dahlias and Gladiolas earned him the regal title "Dahlia King".
Besides his parents, he is also predeceased by his infant son John Robert Walsh, and siblings Eva, Hazel, Louis, Lil, Mary, Percy, Merlin, John and Jimmy and his son-in-law Dave Lifford.
Joseph married his loving bride Mary, 53 years ago this Friday, November 15th.
