      Helen M. Jewell, 51, of 641 Fortieth St., died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center of complications following a stroke.
       A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dunn’s Funeral Home and burial at Glendale Cemetery.
       Born in Sigourney, Mrs. Jewell lived in Des Moines 23 years. She was an employee of the Social Security Administration.
       Survivors include her husband, Albert; a son, Jeffrey of Iowa City; three sisters, Lois Killian of Sigourney, Dorothy Ruck of Nashua, and Mary Latona of Phoenix, Ariz., and two brothers, Richard Schultz of Marengo and Larry Schultz of Cedar Rapids.
