      Mosher, Walter Palfrey, 101, Truro, passed away July 8, 2008 in Sandi’s Rest Home, Truro. Born in Stewiacke, he was a son of the late J. Wilson and Margaret (Tupper) Mosher.
       He was in business for over 50 years dealing with Auto Parts and Real Estate. He served overseas during the Second World War with the rank of Lt. Col. He was a charter member of the Stewiacke’s Men’s Club, a member of Truro Lodge #43, past-president of the Rotary Club of Truro, a District Governor of Rotary International and a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Foundation.
       He is survived by daughter, Alison Smyth; son, Leslie; grandsons, Jonathan and Jeremy.
       He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Fulton; sisters, Una and Helen; brothers, Russell and Avon.
       Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service by request. Arrangements entrusted to the Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro. On line condolences may made at www.colchestercommunity.com
