Dorothy Lorraine Morse, resident of Dover for over 50 years, passed away on July 14, 2015, in her home, at the age of 96. Wife of the late William Ralph Morse. Dear daughter of the late Kathryn (O’Pray) and Harry Burgess Warwick of Needham. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Lorraine graduated from Girls’ Latin School in Boston and Boston State Teachers College. Later she earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Boston University, following a sabbatical spent in Europe studying elementary education systems. She taught first grade in Westwood, MA for over 25 years. During her retirement, Lorraine enjoyed spending time in family gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, passing on her joy of teaching and learning. She is the beloved mother of Jean Kispert and her husband Robert of Needham, Dorothy Chandler and her husband Douglas of North Chelmsford, Susan Delano of Norfolk, and William Ralph Morse and his wife Anne of Shrewsbury. Cherished grandmother of Heather Kispert Hagerty, Alison Kispert, William Chandler, Kristine Delano Shatas, Bobby Delano, Ralph Morse, and Jaclyn Morse. Loving great-grandmother of Mackenzie Hagerty, Thomas James Hagerty, Brady Shatas and Cameron Shatas. Funeral Services will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue, Needham on Tuesday, July 21st. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7PM. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army.
