    1. [S4] Obituary.
MAGEE, Andrew Albert — It is with great sadness that we announce Andy’s passing after an unbelievably short, yet incredibly brave battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, age 49 years.
Beloved husband of Jacqueline for 22 years. Loving father of Robert and Matthew. Beloved son of Alex and Marie Magee and son-in-law of Pat and Robert Chase. Loving brother of Mark (Carole), Patrick (Beverly) and Katherine (Kyle), and brother-in-law of Joann (Steve). Andy will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Brittany, Jordan, Jacob, Brooklin, Meghan, Emily, Collin, Kieran, Kali and Natalie. Also missed by his special friend Bill Mulholland.
Andy was an avid hunter and had a passion for the outdoors. He was an employee of Canada Border Services Agency. During this time, Andy was a dog handler and more recently a customs intelligence officer. The family would like to thank Dr. Charlie Barr, the palliative care team, Dr. Singh, Dr. Stewart, nurses Marg and Jenny and the staff at KGH.
Friends and relatives will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Tuesday, March 19, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel, on Wednesday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Mary Wright officiating. The family will attend a private graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Napanee, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited or U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario), in Andy’s memory.
