SHAW — Mr. Victor Woodrow of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully on June 9, 1997 at the age of 79 years.
Vic is survived by his wife Sherry; one daughter Janice; and two sons, Neil and Phillip; three grandchildren, Nesha, Nicole and Allan; and two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Shirley Janet.
Vic was predeceased by his wife Rosella in 1977.
Vic was born November 9, 1918. His many talents and humour brought joy to all his friends and family from woodworking to Guido-guilding, raising birds, motorcycles to oil painting. He has left us all a legacy of passion and zest for life. Vic was a long-standing active member of the Army and Navy Club of Calgary. Victor will be remembered by family and friends as husband, father, grandfather and friend who enriched the lives of everyone he touched.
Friends and family are invited to Visitation at Foster’s Funeral Homes “Garden Chapel”, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., on Thursday, June 12, 1997 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In respect of Vic’s wishes, and informal Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 1997 at 3:00 p.m. at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
