      Mr. and Mrs. John C. Goddard Jr., Maitland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Joan MacLellan Goddard and Malcolm Mac-Donnell, Melrose, Mass. The prospective bride made her debut to Central Florida society at Goodfellows’ Charity Ball in ’52. She graduated from Winter Park High School in ’51 and received a BS degree in anthropology from Florida State University last month. Her fiancé, son of Mr. fnd Mrs. John Harold Mac-Donnell, Melrose, served with the U. S. Navy two years. He graduated from Tufts College, Medford, Mass., and received a master’s degree from the University of Alabama. MacDonnell spent two years as graduate assistant instructor at Brown University, Providence, R, I., and will receive a Ph.D in psychology in ’57 from Florida State University. Plan’s for a September wedding will be announced later.
