      CLELAND, Margaret “Peggy” In hospital, on Friday, September 19, 2008 at the age of 78. Daughter of the late Jean White and the late Charles Robert Hawkins.. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ted Cleland.
       Cherished mother of Catherine Andreadis (Chris), James, Michael (Karen), Cynthia, Nancy Jackson (Ivor) and Diane Brodeur (Toner). Beloved Nana to Peter, Kimberley, Heather, Ben, Christian, Johnny, Hannah, Ted, James, Magdalene, Rachel and Alexander. Great-grandmother to Owen and Oliver.
       Predeceased by her sister Vivian Whalen. Loving aunt to Sean, Anne and Dan. Dear friend and companion to Albert Cork.
       Peggy was bom March 28, 1930 in Fredericton, New Brunswick where she attended UNB. She had an adventurous spirit and was active in the sports of swimming, tennis and skating. She will be remembered for her dedication to and love of her family and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
       Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, between Bayshore and Baseline Road, Nepean (417 westbound traffic exit at Pine-crest Rd. due to construction), on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Garden Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Those wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society. Condolences, tributes or donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com.
