      SALVATORE J. FUCILE, JR. AGE 84 YEARS — Salvatore J. Fucile Jr. of Dracut, formerly of Somerville, passed away, September 12th. Beloved husband of the late Laurel (Grant) Fucile. Devoted father of Salvatore "Tore" J. Fucile III, Laurie A. Smillie, John P. Fucile, Eleanor Heitz, Marie Voulgaris, Sheila M. Fucile, and Allen A. Fucile. Loving "Bubba" of 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Michael Fucile and the late Domenic Fucile and Frances Ann DiPlatzi. Also survived by his children’s spouses and many loving nieces, nephews and family.
       Salvatore was employed by the Highway Department for the City of Somerville, and also worked for many years at Taxi-Tops, moving to Dracut nine years ago. In his spare time Salvatore loved playing cards. He was also a lover of all animals, and once won a pet monkey named "Pepe" in a card game.
       A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford Thursday, September 23rd. Arrangements: Dello Russo Family Funeral Homes Medford-Woburn.
