LaVada Blanche Palmer Robinson (August 16, 1920 - November 30, 2019) LaVada Robinson, 99, of Wentzville, MO, died on November 30, 2019 at Parklane Care Center in Wentzville, MO, surrounded by family. LaVada Robinson was born on August 16, 1920 in Leaf River, IL to Homer Palmer and Ruth Ridgeway Palmer. She married Luther Love and to this union seven children were born, she later married Chester Harding Robinson and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1999. Mrs. Robinson was a very hard worker, enjoyed cooking for her family, and loved to visit with all her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her children, Robert Palmer and wife, Janice, of Durand, IL; Dennis Love and wife, Becky, of West Monroe, LA; Danny Love of Vallejo, CA; Earl Love and wife, Karen, of Hugoton, KS; and Sharon Bastean and husband, Pete, of Wentzville, MO. Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Ruby Love of Jonesburg, MO; sister, Loretta Fry of Rockford, IL; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ruth Palmer; husband, Luther Love; husband, Chester Harding Robinson; sons, Gary Wayne Love and Douglas Love, and four brothers: Earl Palmer, Harry Palmer, Roy Palmer and Donald Palmer. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Interment was in the Bellflower Cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included Billy Love, Jimmy Love, Blake Love and Cody Love.
