Robert Pruett, of Eden, NY, June 5, 2005, beloved husband of Bonnie (Jewel); loving father of Darlene (Bryan) Skarupski, Robert (Linda) Pruett and Dawn (John) McCarthy; brother of David (Judy) Pruett; also survived by four grandchildren. Friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation Saturday 3-7 PM at LAING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2724 West Church St., Eden. Flowers welcome or memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation. Mr. Pruett was a past President and life member of The Eden-North Collins Gun Club and served in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

Miss Jewell and Mr. Pruett Wed in St. Anthony’s Church A double-ring ceremony before a flower-decked altar was per formed Saturday, Aug. 3, in St. Anthony’s Church, Farnham, at 11 o’clock, uniting Miss Bonnalyn Jewell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Jewell of Irving, and Mr. Robert Pruett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Pruett of Farnham. The bride was gowned in a white waltz-length, nylon lace and net, long-sleeved gown with a mandarin collar, with a shoulder-length band style veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Barbara Nottis, was attired in a pink and gold strapless gown and carried pale pink roses and carnations. The matron of honor, Mrs. Sydney Voss, wore a matching gown of turquoise and gold and carried pale yellow roses. The best man was Richard Bray of Eden. Ushers were David Pruett, Harold Voss Jr. and Robert Jewell. The mother of the bride chose a blue print dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. The mother of the groom wore a beige lace dress with turquoise accessories. Following the ceremony a reception for 100 guests was held at the Pruett home, under the pines. A buffet-style luncheon was served. Out-of-town guests were from Canada, Dunkirk, Buffalo, Perrysburg, Derby, Angola, Eden and Silver Creek. After a trip through Canada, the newly weds will make their home in Derby.
