  [S4] Obituary. Eric A. Gilfillan, 85, of Derby, Vermont passed away on August 22, 2024 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1938 in Brownington, Vermont to Nye and Marion (Moore) Gilfillan.  He was a project manager for IBM for many years. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, trapping, auto racing and snow mobile racing.  Eric is survived by his children: Valerie Bomberger and her husband Chris of Michigan and Mona Lisa Gilfillan of Derby, Vermont. He is also survived by his siblings: Willis Gilfillan and his wife Betty of Island Pond, Vermont, Dick Curtis of Connecticut, and Marline Gillfillan of Holland, Vermont, by many nieces and nephews from Connecticut, Florida, Tennessee, and Vermont. He is also survived by his former wife Lorraine Gilfillan of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his siblings: Anna Curtis, Gilbert Gilfillan, Raymond Gilfillan, and Nye Gilfillan.  A celebration of his life will be held in the summer of 2025. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Coventry Tuesday Senior Meals at the Coventry Town Office or an Animal Charity of one’s choice.
