SANDWICH — Kelly Lisa Stowell passed away on September 14, 2018 in Sandwich, MA. She was born in Athol, MA on October 21, 1966 and spent her childhood growing up in Athol and Petersham. She spent the remaining years of her life on Cape Cod with her son Brandon and his children.
Kelly was predeceased by her mother Barbara (Boutall) Stowell of Athol in 1969 and her father Thomas Stowell formerly of Athol in 1977.
She is survived by her son Brandon and his children, Neveah and Salem of Sandwich, MA, a brother Thomas Stowell and his daughter Erin of Orange, MA, Peter Sullivan (fiancé) of Plymouth, MA and several aunts and uncles — Alfred Ohlson of New Salem, Bess Stowell of Orange, Sandra Boutall of Orange, Abigail Ganson Sargent of Fort Myers, FL, Debbie Meunier of Templeton, MA, Gordon Ganson and his wife Linda of Petersham, MA, Heather Ganson of Barre, MA, Alan Chicoine of Athol, MA, Leo Chicoine and his wife Kate of Athol, MA, Monique Chicoine of Athol, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Kelly graduated from R.C. Mahar Regional in 1984 and attended Southeastern Massachusetts University in Dartmouth, MA where she majored in nursing. She became certified as a medical assistant and was employed by Cape Medical Supply in Sandwich, MA. Kelly was a sincere, compassionate person with a generous heart for the wellbeing of others. Her strength in life came from a strong commitment to her religious beliefs. Her family was her life! She enjoyed spending time with family, her son Brandon, and her grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Orthodox Congregational Church, 21 North Main Street, Petersham, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orthodox Congregational Church, 21 North Main St., PO Box 12, Petersham, MA 01366.
