Death Summons Harry M. Suman — Brief Illness Proves Fatal; Funeral Services to Be Held Sunday Afternoon.
Harry Milton Suman, 70, died Friday night at his home, 1102 New Hampshire street, after brief illness. Mr. Suman was born Sept. 25, 1861, in Hagerstown, Md. He came to Muscatine when he was a young man and had been employed at the Roach and Musser factory for 47 years. He married Elizabeth Fiedler here June 30, 1887.
Surviving are his. widow; one daughter, Mrs. Will Umlandt, Muscatine; three sons, Ralph, Glendale, Calif., Charles, Los Angeles, Harold, Danville, Ia., George, Muscatine; one sister, Mrs. D. Miller, Wassenburg, Mo.; one brother, Isaac, Harried, S. D.
One sister, Mrs. John Toms.preceded him in death. Also surviving are a half-sister, Mrs. Nettie Blair: two half-brothers, Edward and Haskell Hammer, Mt. Morris,Illl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. The Rev. Leland Lesher, pastor of Grace Lutheran church, will be in charge of the service.
