TUPPER Mavis Edna Tupper of Calgary, Alberta, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on December 25, 1997, after a lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 79 years. Mavis was born and educated in Calgary. In 1 942, she married Glenn Tupper and they had one child, Alfred, who predeceased her. Mavis moved to Winnipeg and was a private secretary for the Jesuit College until her retirement in 1983, at which time she moved back to Calgary. She will be sadly missed by all her friends. Mavis is survived by her brother-in-law Al Perrin of Calgary; two nephews, Ted Perrin of Victoria, B.C., and Robert Perrin of Calgary; and a niece Rosemary and Rick Kry and their family of Calgary. Funeral Services will be held at MclNNIS & HOLLOWAY’S "Chapel of the Bells" (2720 Centre Street North), on Monday, December 29, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. Special thanks to the staff of Unit 42 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital for the very special care they gave Mavis during her extended stay there.
