    1. [S4] Obituary.
      ROY DOLTER SMITH, 55, of 2722 Arburtus Ave., Baltimore County, died at his home yesterday after an illness of seven months. Born in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Edward H. and Mary (Dotler) Smith. Moving to this city in 1924, he was employed as a cabinet maker until 1935 when he went to Baltimore to work in the shipyards.
       He was a member of Mt. Wiman Lutheran Church in Baltimore.
       Surviving are his widow, Carrie Row Smith; two sons, Roy Elden, Baltimore, and Andrew R., stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army; five grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Martha Kindle, Smithsburg, and Mrs. Monroe Davis, Rouzerville, Pa.; brothers, Harvey M., Baltimore; Walter E., Frederick; Glenn W., Rouzerville; and James F., Hagerstown.
       Services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
