      Elkader — Paul Duncan Nading, 4, son of former Elkader residents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nading, was injured fatally Tuesday when struck by a car in front of his home in Rockford, Ill.
       The Winnebago County sheriff’s office said the boy ran into the street and was hit by a car driven by Richard Cook of Rockford. The Nadings live at 1418 Harlem Rd., Rockford.
       The sheriff’s office said the boy died in an ambulance enroute to a hospital,.
       The body will be brought to the Witt Funeral Home, Elkader, Friday afternoon. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mederville Cemetery.
       Surviving besides his parents are three brothers, Robert Jr., Mark and Lee, three sisters, Debbie, Pamala, and Cheryl, all at home; and his paternal grandmother Mrs. Francis Nading of Elkader.
