Joy Waters, 70, of Cisne, died Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City, with Rev. Richard McCormick presiding. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening after 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Waters was born Sept. 24, 1920 in Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Unis and Verda (Graddy) Riggs. She married Hubert (Bud) Waters on Aug. 7, 1943.
Mrs. Waters was a housewife.
Mrs. Waters is survived by her husband, Hubert (Bud); two Sons, Jerry Waters, Wayne City and Richard Waters, Mt. Erie; one daughter, Pamela Harrington, Olney; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother, and one sister.
