  [S4] Obituary. Mr. Marlin Palmer, 71, of 2123 Floral Ave. died Feb. 9, 1990, at Mercy Hospital. Funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at Sharon Memorial Park. Mr. Palmer, a native of Rockford, retired as a foreman at United Merchants after 40 years. He was a World War II Army veteran.
