BROOKS, Thomas S., May 11, 1998, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, formerly of the Los Angeles area; graduate of UCLA and past president of both Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and Inter Fraternity Council. Survived by his wife, Abbie (Lundgren); 10 children, 25 grandchildren; and a sister. Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 15 in Malvern, PA. Contributions in his memory may be made to either the Building Fund of the Free Presbyterian Church of Malvern, 80 Malin Rd., Malvern, PA, 19355 or the Institute for Creation Research, 10946 Woodside Ave. N., Santee, Ca. 92071.

THOMAS S. BROOKS Thomas S. Brooks, 69, died May 11, 1998 at this home in Worcester Twp. following a brief illness. He was the husband of Abbie (Lundgren ) Brooks and they had observed their 42nd wedding anniversary in Apnl. He had lived at his current address for 1 1/2 years. Before that, he lived in Perkasie for about eight years, and was a former long time resident of the Los Angeles, CA area. He was bom Oct. 6, 1928 and raised in Los Angeles, a son of the late Fred and Susan E. (Delaney) Brooks. He graduated from Univ. of C A at Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in geography and was past president of both Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and the Inter Fraternity Council. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict with the 325th Airborne. Since 1989, he was the owner of Brookses Janitorial Services. Previously, for many years, he was an executive of the Family Life Insurance Co. in Calif., PA, and Wisc. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lansdale. Surviving, in addition to his wife are four sons: Kevin Brooks, and his wife, Darlene, of Greenville, SC; Colin Brooks, and his wife, Dawn, of Easley, SC; Jonathan Brooks, and his wife. Karla, of Jacksonville, FL and Duffee Brooks of Brevard, NC; six daughters: Jaime Faucette and her husband, Dan, of Sellersville; Sheri Finkbeiner, and her husband, Rev. Dr. Douglas Finkbeiner, of Lansdale; Lauren McIlroy, and her husband. Rev. Paul McIlroy, of Keaau, HI; Mary Beth Lozano, and her husband, George Lozano, Esq., of Chino Hills, CA; Debbie Sue Brooks, of San Diego, CA and Becky vonEhrenkrook, and her husband, Jason, of Harleysville. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and a sister, Zonne Lebrecht, and her husband, George, of Meadview, AZ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Pierce Brooks, March 1998. Memorial services were Friday. Contributions in his memory may be made either to the Building Fund of Free Presbyterian Church of Malvern, 80 Malin Rd., Malvern, PA 19355 or to the Institute for Creation Research, 10946 Woodside Avenue, N., Santee, CA 92071. The Huff& Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, handled arrangements.

APRIL WEDDING
Abbie Lundgren Troth to T. S. Brooks Told At a holiday luncheon given at the Hotel Bel-Air, the betrothal of Miss Abbie Louise Lundgren to Thomas Sheridan Brooks, a third-generation Californian, was made by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sven Paul Lundgren of West Los Angeles. The news heralds an April wedding. Mrs. Lundgren arranged a centerpiece of American Beauty roses and white bouvaridia for the luncheon table with two red hearts bear ing the .names "Abbie and Tom." The bride-elect, a UCLA graduate, was president of Delta Delta Delta and a member of Mortar Board. She is now Panhellenic adviser at UCLA and an assistant to Nota-Stark Cavette, UCLA Dean of Women. Her fiancé, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brooks, is a member of the UCLA faculty .as a research assistant in the agriculture economics department. He was president of Phi Delta Theta and Interfraternity Council at UCLA where, he received his degree.
