Esther M. Hill, 73, of Lynn, Mass., mother of a Lewiston resident, died Saturday, June 11 [1983], at a Lynn nursing home, after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, the daughter of Albert E. and Margaret F. Harrington Junkins, she had lived in Lynn many years. She was a member of the Passamaquoddy Grange and was a member and past president of American Legion Post #330 Auxiliary, Byfield, Mass.
She is survived by six sons, Jerome M. and William E. Hill Jr., both of Byfield, Mass., Thomas J. and James K. Hill both of Lynn, Mass., Richard P. Hill of Rowley, Mass. and Robert P. Hill of Newburyport, Mass.; seven daughters, Mrs. Margaret Soule of Lewiston, Mrs. Patricia A. Adgurson, Mrs. Marianne Amico, Mrs. Diane Losanno and Mrs. Judith Prushinski, all of Lynn, Mass., and Mrs. Christine Tibbets and Mrs. Joanne Muse, both of Wakefield, Mass.; two brothers, Albert O. Junkins of Lisbon Falls, and Joseph Junkins of North Carolina; 30 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, June 16, at Lynn, with interment at Pine Grove Cemetery. The bearers were all grandchildren, Michael S. Soule, Joseph Tibbets, Michael Losanna, William Tibbets, Louis Amico, Thomas J. Hill Jr., and William Muse.
