Church services for
Mary C. (Danko) Skinner and Dunston M. Skinner will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Lakeside Baptist Church, 306 Fairport Nursery Road, Painesville. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Mary passed away Sept. 2, 2012. Born May 13, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she moved to Painesville in 1955.
She was a retired warehouse supervisor from Uniroyal Chemical. Mary enjoyed being outdoors, playing golf, walking her dog Jake, gardening and talking to friends. She was very proud of her children and both grandchildren.
Her friend and former husband, Dunston passed away Feb. 13, 2011. He was born March 1, 1942, in Dover, Del. Dunston enjoyed playing cards with friends and helping animals.
Both are survived by their children, Jeffrey (Monica) Skinner and Catherine (David) Silvestro; and grandchildren, Sydney Skinner and John Silvestro. Dunston was preceded in death by his parents, Selby Millmore Skinner and Charlotte Miller Skinner. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Danko and Catherine Spadafora Danko.
