Margaret S. Hancort, 80, of 3 Auburn Road, librarian at Babson College for 12 years, died Saturday (Oct. 16, 1982) in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She had lived in Wellesley 29 years.
Mrs. Hancort was a graduate of Wellesley College, class of 1925. She was employed by the Dennison Manufacturing, later taught math at Lee School, Boston, for eight years, and then was a math editor for Ginn and Comany before joining Babson.
She leaves her husband, Joseph S. Hancort; a daughter, Mary H. Bahnkey of Winchester, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, in St. Andrew’s Church at 10 a.m. Arrangements are by J. W. Waterman and Sons. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
