Kenneth Franklin Black passed away gently, surrounded by love, in Mississauga on December 8, 2001 in his ninetieth year. He was recently predeceased by his beloved wife Grace Gwendolyn Todd on October 29, 2001. Ken is survived by his three daughters: Gwen Higginson of Cobourg, Donna Johnston (Jeff) of Mississauga, and Susan Turner (Steve) of London. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ken is predeceased by his infant daughter Virginia, his sister Evelyn, brother Delbert, sister Audrey and son-in-law Warren. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be followed by a very private family service. Interment will take place in Montreal Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre. Grampie was a truly extraordinary man who thrived on the happiness of others.
