Donald Angus Laybolt, 61, of Tantallon passed away Friday February 25, 2011 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Ship Harbour he was the son of the late Clement and Ruth (Hirtle) Laybolt. Donnie worked many years as a carpenter in the St. Margaret’s Bay area.Survived by his daughters, Tanya (Aaron Quilty), Tantallon; Lynnett (David) Wambolt, Calgary; and his grandchildren Destiny, Jocelyn and Tylor who were his reason for his courageous fight; brothers, Edwin, Timberlea; Clem, Tantallon; Earl, Mason Point; Gary, Hubbards; sisters, Ethel Orchard, Lower Sackville; Doreen (Ken) Edwards, Bridgewater; Joyce (Albert) Yarn, Hubbards; Susan (Lloyd) Morash, Whites Lake; Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brother Harvey.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday March 4, 2011 in St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Tantallon. Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
