Leonard Leroy Rowe, 86, died Monday at a local hospital. A Chula Vista resident tor 11 years, he was born in Iowa. He was a custodian for 20 years at Grossmont Hospital and served in the Navy in World War I. He is survived by his wife, June S, Rowe; a daughter, Joyce Taylor, of Bonita; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mass was Tuesday in Salli Lynn Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park. Burial was in Riverside National Cemetery.
