MIRAMICHI, NB – Mr.
E. Carson Jardine, husband of Jean Jardine of Gordon Road, Miramichi, passed away early Wednesday morning at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, at the age of 85. Born in Napan, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Alethea (Williston) Jardine. He was a retired Insurance Salesman and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, Chatham, NB. He was a member of the Orange Lodge, member of Scottish Highland Society. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Besides his wife Jean, he is survived by four daughters, Deborah Ellison (John) of Moncton, Connie Desjardins of Toronto, Jill Clark (Tim) of Quispamsis, Bonnie Taylor (Darren) of Black River Bridge; four sons, Bruce (June) Jardine of Quispamsis, Keith (Anna) Jardine of Chatham, Kevin (Linda) Jardine of Ottawa, Reg Jardine of Saint John; two sisters, Vera Wilson of Napan, Lea Connell of Douglasfield; one brother, Willis Jardine of Dartmouth; Poppy to David, Christine, Eric, Kristen, Brandon, Travis, Matthew, Sarah and Penelope. He was predeceased by his parents.
Mr. Carson Jardine will be resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held Friday at 2 pm from St. Andrew’s United Church, Chatham, with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
