A very junior cadet who arrived Friday evening at St. Elizabeth’s hospital and who has the privilege of calling his superior officers “mother and dad,” is Franz Carlton Skinner, the son of Lt. Com. and Mrs. Carlton Skinner. The baby is a born navy man, his father being commander of a ship in the south Pacific and his mother the former Lt. (jr) Jeanne Rowe of the WAVES, now honorably discharged. An honor student and a Kappa Kappa Gamma in her undergraduate days at Nebraska university, Mrs. Skinner is the duration guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Rowe.
