Mary Ruth Harms, 82, of Founatin West Health Care Center, 1501 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, died of complications of multiple sclerosis Saturday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center, with burial at Brethren Cemetery there.
Mrs. Harms was born in Dallas Center and lived there most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Joad Bailey of Waukee and Pauline Kinney of Omaha; a sister, Jessie Lint and a brother, Ralph Rowe, both of California; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
