      The death of Earl Ernest Webb of Upper Hampstead, NB occurred on June 9, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in New Jerusalem, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Colwell) Webb and husband of Edith (MacApline) (Lacy) Webb. Earl was the Past President of the New Brunswick Fruit Growers Association, the Past President of Gagetown Apple Co-op, the President of the Upper Hampstead Cemetery Company and he was a member of the May Flower Seniors in Jemseg, NB.
       Survived by his wife, Edith; two sisters, Irene (Pat) Bryant of Gagetown, NB and Geraldine (Ken) Harrison of Gagetown, NB; one step-son, Claude Lacy of Victoria, BC; one step-daughter, Jean Chalifoux of Joussard, AB and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
       Predeceased by his parents and a brother, Charles and his wife, Julie of Halifax, NS.
       Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, June 11, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Interment will be made in the Upper Hampstead Cemetery. No flowers by request. Memorial tributes may be made to the Upper Hampstead Cemetery Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Grace United Church Building Fund or to a charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated. www.oromoctofh.com
