      The death of Wendell H. Lacey formerly of Gagetown, NB occurred at the Veteran’s Health Unit, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, November 21st, 2007. Beloved husband of 68 years of the late Helen (MacAlpine) Lacey.
       Survived by two sons, Lloyd R. (Janet) Lacey of Edmonton, AB and G. Blair (Marsha) Lacey of St. Stephen, NB; three daughters, Marie (Jack) Keirstead of Fredericton, NB, Audrey (Frank) Hand of Rothesay, NB and Joan (Harry) Cooper of Garnet Settlement, NB; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren as well as one sister, Muriel Holder of Gagetown, NB. Predeceased by his wife, Helen (MacAlpine) Lacey; one son, Karl Lacey and one sister, Myrtle Holder.
       There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held from the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home Chapel (357-5100)on Monday, November 26th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Hampstead Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
