      Bernice Rowe, 78, of Mesa, Ariz., died of a heart ailment Friday at home.
       The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at Red Mountain Community Church in Mesa.
       Mrs. Rowe was born in Madrid and had lived in St. Marys before moving to Mesa 12 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Westchester Free Church, Women’s Bethel Mission and Martingale Garden Club.
       She is survived by her husband. Warren; four daughters, Judy Ondracek of Sacramento, Calif., Linda Wood of Oakfield, N.Y., Sue Ellen Hansen of Indianola and Sally Rogers of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
       Memorial contributions may be made to Westchester Free Church Women’s Ministry Scholarship. Mountain View Memorial Gardens Mortuary in Mesa is handling arrangements.
