Wotton, Bessie Myrtle – 91, Wilmot, died Saturday in Pleasantville, Lunenburg County. Born in Round Hill, she was a daughter of the late Herb and Jennie (Slauenwhite) Whitman. She was a member of Nictaux United Baptist Church. She lived all her life in Wilmot, spending the last 13 years in Pleasantville with her daughter, Mrs. Helen Jodrey.
She is survived by three daughters, Helen Jodrey and Ruth (Mrs. Stanford Baker), both of Pleasantville; Shirley (Mrs. Murray Pineo), Wilmot; a son, George (Bud), Wilmot; two sisters, Ethel (Mrs. Ronald McKeil), Truro; Mrs. Olive Hegerich, Brighton, Mass.; two brothers, Fred and Harold, both of Truro; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis; two sisters, Celia and Effie; five brothers, Stanley, Everett, Addison, Gordon, Oakley.
The body is in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m., today, Rev. Claude Bonnell officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Donations may be made to Nictaux United Baptist Church or any charity.
