WOTTON, George Herbert “Bud” — age 92 of Wilmot, passed on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at home surrounded by family just as he wanted. Born in Wilmot, he was the son of the late Lewis and Bessie (Whitman) Wotton.

He owned a hobby farm, where he loved his farm animals, his vegetable garden, his beekeeping, tending his strawberry fields, selling the berries by the road or being out in his woodlot. Bud also enjoyed playing cards and riding around the hobby farm on his John Deere lawn tractor. He and his wife Pearl loved to square dance and danced with the Heart of the Valley Twirlers, Berwick Bells and Bows and the Rainbow Dancers. Most of all, Bud loved his family; especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was always there whenever his family needed him and to lend a helping hand.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Sharon Leonard, South Williamston; Wendy (John) Black, Lower Sackville, NS; Patricia (Bill) Gillis and Diane (David) Balcom, both of Nictaux; sons, Stewart Wotton (Evelyn Shaw), Middleton and Larry (Debbie) Wotton, Wilmot; sister, Ruth Baker, Pleasantville, NS; 15 grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Carl (Gloria) Robar.
