TODD, Viola Florence – 80, Nictaux, passed away Monday, August 6, 2007, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Victoria Beach, Annapolis, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Spurr) Boudreau. Viola was a member of the Nictaux Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. She taught school during the Second World War at the Morse Road. Viola loved crafts and her family dearly. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John “Bill”, Nictaux; sons, Harry (Beverley), West Lawrencetown, Halifax Co.; Charles "Bub" (Sandra), Enfield; sisters, Aileen (Lloyd) Potter, Parkers Cove; Marion (Don) Smith, Cape Sable Island; Charlene Boudreau, Zephyrhills, Fla; grandchildren, Richard, Shawna, and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren, Katrina, Kayla, Taylor, Brianna, Jacqueline, and Kristian; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Vernon and Trinda Connell, Nictaux. She was predeceased by sisters, Jean and Mary; a brother in infancy and granddaughter, Andrea Todd. Special thank you to the Dialysis Unit, 6th Floor, VG Site, QEII, Halifax, and to Dr. Lee and Dr. David MacKinnon for their excellent care. Visitation will be from 2-4, 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9, in Nictaux Baptist Church, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Nictaux Cemetery. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch.
