POTTER, Catherine "Aileen" – 81 of Parker’s Cove, passed away April 26th, 2013 in Digby General Hospital. Born in Granville Ferry, she was the fourth daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Spurr) Boudreau. Aileen was a member of Parker’s Cove United Baptist Church. She was a Provincial and Dominion Life member of the Canadian Baptist Women’s Missionary Society. Aileen was employed by Glubes Limited for 20 years, working at their firms in Dartmouth, Halifax, New Glasgow and Kentville, retiring in 1971. She married Lloyd R. Potter and moved to Parker’s Cove. She is survived by her husband Lloyd; daughter, Joy Andersen, New Minas; stepdaughter, Paula (Bruce) Andrews, Rossway, Digby Co.; grandsons, David (Leah) Wilson, Oakville, Ont.; Adam (Lysa) Wilson, Simcoe, Ont.; step grandsons, Tyler and Zachary Andrews, Rossway; great-grandsons, Aidan and Ewan Wilson of Oakville; sisters, Charlene Boudreau, Tibbets home for Special Care, Wilmot; Marion (Don) Smith, Cape Sable; brother-in-law, John Todd, Nictaux. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary (Charles) Thomas (Annapolis Royal); Viola Todd (Nictaux); Jean (Boyd) Cress (Clementsvale); infant brother, Louis Boudreau; son-in-law, John Andersen (New Minas). No visitation by request. Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 1st at 2:00 p.m. in Parker’s Cove United Baptist Church, Pastor Herb Anderson officiated. Private burial was held in Round Hill Cemetery.
