      MINBURN — A funeral for Dorothy Alice Row, 77, of rural Minburn was held Sept. 22, 1990 at the Minburn United Methodist Church. Mrs. Row died Sept. 19 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Boone. Burial was in the Brethren Cemetery at Dallas Center.
       The daughter of Charles Raymond and Alice Cory Platter, she was born in Des Moines on April 27, 1913. She had lived in Minburn for 56 years and was a member of the Minburn United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
       She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Row in 1984.
       Survivors include a son, Ron Row of Minburn; a daughter, Holly Phillips of Maryville, Mo.; a sister, Cathleen Randall of Derby; and four grandchildren.
