Elmer Hall Junkins Sanford. Aug. 13. — Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Carl Funeral Home, Main Street, Springvale. for Elmer Hall Junkins, 59, East Lebanon, who died Tuesday night at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital, following a long illness. The Rev. Dean W. Geary of the Free Baptist Church, Springvale, officiated and interment was in Forest Grove Cemetery, North Lebanon. Mr Junkins was born in Newmarket. N. H. son of Frank and Annie B. Fleer Junkins. He was employed for a long period as electrician for the Central Maine Power Company at South Berwick and also was employed as inspector at the Hubbard Shoe Factory in Rochester, N. H. He was a Veteran of World War I member of the First Artillery. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Rochester.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Lula Roberts Junkins; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Mae Wood East Lebanon; a son, Avery E Junkins, Sanford. two grandsons and one sister, Miss Annie Junkins, Portland.
